Remember way back in high school when you had to read Great Gatsby? Well it's coming back into your life soon and in a far more glamorous way.

Incase you haven't heard, director Baz Luhrmann (known for jazzing up classics like Romeo + Juliet) is taking the F. Scott Fitzgerald-penned novel and making a huge 3-D big-screen adaptation of it, starring sexy stars like Carey Mulligan and Leonardo DiCaprio.

And today two official pics from the flick hit the net, so tell us: What do you think of this glammed up Great Gatsby?!

Must say, from this peek we think it simply dazzling. Let's just hope Baz goes more Moulin Rouge and less snoresville Australia with it!

And even if the movie is dull, hey, at least Carey's fashion looks like it will hold our interest!

About a year ago when Car was cast, Baz released a pic of the babe giving us all a taste of what she'd look like filling the shoes of the iconic character of Daisy Buchanan, but this is the first chance we've gotten to really judge her '20s-inspired outfits (unless, of course, you count the paparazzi pics from set).

And we like what we see. Be-yotch is werkin' those pearls and fancy scarves!

Oh, and as for Leo (who, of course, plays the titular Jay Gatsby)? He's looking far more doable than he did in boring old J. Edgar. As are other gentlemen Tobey Maguire and Joel Edgerton, dressed up in their dapperest of duds.

We guess our point is: Even if the movie sucks (which we doubt it will), the costume designer definitely deserves a tip of the hat. But what do you think: Are you into everything you see here, or is it nothing like what you imagined when you read the book?

Sound off below!
