Kelly Rowland has parted managerial ways with Matthew Knowles in a move both parties are calling amicable. Despite what you may have heard.
Knowles' management of Rowland predates the conception of Destiny's Child and included overseeing her solo career which, while respectable, has so far proved far less successful than Beyoncé's.
The partnership went beyond mere manager and act—Rowland moved in with the Knowles family prior to Destiny's Child's formation and was raised by Matthew and Tina Knowles. Rowland and Matthew Knowles say that they will always be family regardless of the professional split.
The 27-year-old has yet to announce who will take over managing duties.
