If Kate Gosselin wants to be on TV, that's her business. But guess who's pretty pleased that his kids' days in front of the camera are over? (Minus the inevitable specials and periodic check-ins TLC will inevitably run over the years, of course.)

Let's just say that, while Kate reacted in a positive manner regarding the cancellation of Kate Plus 8, Jon Gosselin is downright psyched.

"Jon is extremely relieved his children will finally be off television," a source close to Kate's ex-hubby tells E! News.

"Jon has been fighting for years to remove them from TV, even taking the matters to the court. He hopes they will finally have the normal, private life he believes is best for them. He wishes the best for Kate in whatever she decides to do. He does hope her next career move will only include one of the Gosselins—Kate—on television."

Kate continuing to make her presence known on TV does seem a likely possibility.

Never far away from a camera, be it one attached to Dancing With the Stars or the Today show, the divorced mother of sextuplets and a set of twins tweeted last night, "I can't wait2have the chance2challenge myself again w future endeavor!"

Incidentally, she also talked about "pouring herself in" to the last six years of Kate Plus 8, neglecting to mention that the show was Jon & Kate Plus 8 up until June 2010.

But Kate is keeping her positive 'tude, tweeting to her followers today, "Good morning! It's a new day!Despite r challenges,we must forge ahead putting r best foot forward! It's all about perspective!!! Hav a good 1!"
