Iron Man 3 Assembles: Jon Favreau Returns as Actor—Not Director—of Robert Downey Jr. Flick
There are clearly no hard feelings to avenge here.
Despite having handed over the reins of the Robert Downey Jr. money-printing franchise to another director, Jon Favreau is still keeping a, well, iron in the fire, as it happens, signing on to reprise his role as Tony Stark's bodyguard and de facto sidekick in Iron Man 3.

Even though this is his second time at Comic-Con rodeo, bemused Brit Daniel Craig seems a little nervous talking to E!'s Catt Sadler and Ben Lyons. Maybe it's the contrast between his dapper suit and his wardrobe for Cowboys & Aliens, which reportedly leans pretty heavily on skin-tight chaps. Yowsa!

The director of the first two Iron Man films won't be returning for the third. He just has other plans.

Iron Man director Jon Favreau is bringing out the big guns for next summer's Cowboys & Aliens: James Bond, Han Solo and the lady from House.
Or rather, Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford and Olivia Wilde.
And from what we see in the first trailer for the western/sci-fi extravaganza, we can totally identify with what Craig's going through here. To a point:

As voiced by Jon Favreau in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the Mandalorian warrior is looking to usurp Satine and "maintain the history of Mandalore" and the "concept of the 'Mandalord,' the one leader," according to supervising director Dave Filoni.
