John O'Hurley's First Edition

It's easier to play the Feud if you have a Family, right?

John O'Hurley and wife Lisa added one more to their team Wednesday, welcoming their first child together, son William Dylan O'Hurley.

The couple, who tied the knot in August 2004, "couldn't be more thrilled," O'Hurley's rep, Liza Anderson, said Thursday.

William Dylan, born in Los Angeles, measured 21 inches and weighed in at 7 pounds, 15 ounces.

Coincidentally, the world debut of his son wasn't the only first for O'Hurley on Wednesday. It also marked the day that his new book, It's Okay to Miss the Bed on the First Jump: And Other Life Lessons I Learned from Dogs, hit the New York Times Best Seller List.

"We can't believe that we could love something as we do—our new little boy," the sonorous Family Feud host told People. "The dogs still aren't sure about the baby, but they are really happy about the book becoming a best seller."

O'Hurley, 52, a veteran character actor whose claim to fame had been playing catalog honcho J. Peterman on Seinfeld, revealed his twinkle toes last year on Dancing with the Stars and has never looked back.

His second-place finish helped him score the tap-happy role of Billy Flynn in Chicago on Broadway, and since then he has assumed hosting duties on the classic syndicated game show Family Feud.

After his walk down the aisle with Lisa in 2004, O'Hurley told People that he couldn't wait to add a branch to his family tree. Luckily he didn't stick with the original name he had picked out in case his first child was a boy.

"We're going to name him Neiman Marcus," the actor joked.
