Salma Hayek is a mommy, having just given birth to little Valentina Paloma Pinault. The 41-year-old Mexican-born actress has talked openly about her desire for children, and we imagine she is over the moon. (For all the deets, check out our news story.)
The proud papa is French businessman François-Henri Pinault. Their relationship has been one of the lowest-profile love stories Hollywood has ever seen. Even before they popped up on the party-scene radar as a couple to watch, news had broken that they were engaged and expecting a baby.
Pinault is the CEO of chichi PPR, the parent company of Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent. With those credentials, we're throwing down the couture gauntlet to Suri, Kingston, James Wilke, Apple and any other A-list offspring who thinks they coulda been a contender.
