Isaiah Washington Faces Eviction

Another anatomy with which Isaiah Washington seems to have become intimately familiar: That of a bill-dodger.

The deposed Grey's Anatomy star and wife Jenisa have been served with a three-day notice to pony up or face eviction from their Venice, Calif., home after allegedly failing to pay $100,000 in rent.

According to the documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday by Sandalwood Properties, the couple has failed to pay any rent on the home since November.

The Washingtons have been leasing the home with the option to buy it for $3.65 million and had, until five months ago, been paying $20,000 per month for the canal-front property.

A copy of the pending legal action was posted on their premises last Thursday.

"If tenants fail to pay the above rent or to quit possession of the premises within three days after the date of service of a copy of this notice, legal proceedings will be instituted for possession of the premises, and for such other damages as may be allowed by law," the notice read.

Sandalwood is also seeking attorneys fees and damages at a rate of $3,333.33 per day for each day after April 1 that the family remains in the residence.

The Washingtons entered into the leasing agreement on April 1, 2008.

The former Seattle Grace denizen has yet to comment on the pending legal action. A hearing has been set for May 13.
