Is Natalie Portman Too Old for Sean Penn?

In a rumor that has shocked the Hollywood social structure, actor Sean Penn, 48 and married to actress Robin Wright Penn, has allegedly been seen “making out” with Natalie Portman, 27. The Star reports that the pair were were “constantly touching each other” at L.A.'s Sunset Tower Hotel's Tower Bar earlier this month.

“It’s simply outrageous,” stated a stunned Hollywood insider to Soup Blog reporters. “The idea that Penn, at 48 years old, would be involved with a woman of 27? She’s far too old for a star of his age. It’s downright sickening.”

Citing the age-old Tinseltown tradition of aging males coupling with far younger women, the source continued. “Look at Charlie Chaplin. The Little Tramp loved little tramps. And Sinatra, he had Scotch older than some his dates. Let’s not even get into Hefner and his stable of prom queens."

“This town is filled with sweet young things—you can’s swing a fake ID without hitting a tween these days. If Sean would devote half as much intensity to hunting youngsters as he does to nabbing an Oscar, he'd be taking home trophies that matter."
