Intimate Intuition: An Evening with Jen and Demi

Now that Jennifer Aniston is the face of Smartwater, her face is plastered on billboards all along Sunset Boulevard. As I drive the five minutes from my apartment to the newly opened One Sunset restaurant, I see Jen looking down on me with a Glamour Shots smile. My gut tells me I'll be seeing more of that grin in just a bit. Sure enough, as I arrive at Kevin Huvane and Ryan Kavanaugh's party for intuitionist and Welcome to Your Crisis author Laura Day, Ms. Aniston is on the red carpet and radiating beauty brighter than the flashes eagerly capturing her presence.

Jen is one of the many celebrities who enlist the help of Day to better their lives by learning to trust their intuition. "These books are tools, maps for creating the opportunity for our dearest dreams to be born," Day says of her body of work, which is read by Nicole Kidman, Brad Pitt and Demi Moore, to name a few.

Sophia Bush, who’s beginning her One Tree Hill summer hiatus tonight with a girls’ night out, echoes Day’s sentiments. "We get gut feelings, and those sort of thought bubbles pop into our heads for a reason," she says. "I'm sure we all could have saved ourselves one awkward moment or another if we just trusted our guts."

Gut trusters are all toasting tonight with p.i.n.k. martinis in the swanky restaurant that my intuition says is going to become one of the hot Hollywood dining spots. While Demi laughs with hubby Ashton Kutcher, her daughter Rumer exhibits poise and maturity beyond her 19 years as she holds down conversations with older guests. Every time I see her, Rumer looks slimmer and slimmer. I hope she's just blossoming and not channeling Mary-Kate Olsen. Skin and bones are so out for summer.

While Jordana Brewster chats with friends, Jen catches up with pal Bradley Cooper. I've never seen Aniston look so beautiful. Her rumored new boyfriend, Paul Sculfor, isn't here tonight, but he must be doing something right in private. Just as I'm wondering what the model and the actress' babies might look like, a gold band catches my eye—on Jen's ring finger! But don't get too excited, because it's on her right hand. My intuition tells me it's just a promise ring of some sort, but what does your gut say? Do you think Pauliffer is on and do you think it will last? Leave a comment and let me know!
