Word on Jenny's block (otherwise known as the Internet) is that Jennifer Lopez has moved on from both Cooper (if they were ever actually an item to begin with, that is) and, of course, ex-hubby Marc Anthony by hooking up with one of her hot young backup dancers.
Stop us if you've heard this one before.
The 42-year-old American Idol judge has already proven she has something of a penchant for the fancy-footed fellows, thanks to marriage No. 2 to backup dancer Cris Judd. And rumors are swirling that she has now hooked up with Casper Smart, a Los Angeles-based dancer who's appeared in Glee (he was one of the "Single Ladies" in their Beyoncé tribute), Step Up 3D, How I Met Your Mother and Honey 2.
The duo reportedly met on the set of American Idol last spring, when Smart served as a backup dancer during J.Lo's finale show performance.
Smart's age is unknown, but he's been pegged as anywhere from 24 to in his mid-30s—whatever the case, all signs point to Lopez as being the more mature of the two. In any case, reports have yet to claim the duo is anything serious and instead has labeled the couple as nothing more than a fling.
As of right now, anyway. But then, that's how they all start, right?
Whatever the case, Lopez and Smart are certainly logging some serious time together, as just Friday—before word of their alleged coupledom broke—Smart wasn't shy about broadcasting his connection to the superstar.
"In Palo Alto Bout to do a show w/Jennifer Lopez for some1s birthday," he posted on Facebook. "LEGOO!!!!"
Unfortunate choice of parting words, perhaps, seeing as how we're guessing those will be the last words we hear from him for some time once J.Lo gives him a lesson in maintaining media silence.
