Beyoncé bewies während des “Fashion Rocks”-Konzert am Freitagabend, dem traditionellen Auftakt der New York Fashion Week, einmal mehr, warum sie zu den Großen der Musikbranche gehört.
Sie sah nicht nur umwerfend aus, sie gab auch eine exzellente Version von Etta James’ „At Last“ von sich – und das in Anwesenheit von Etta James persönlich. Respekt.
Später am Abend sang Beyoncé dann noch einmal, zusammen mit Justin Timberlake. Die beiden traten mit „"Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing" auf und begeisterten damit das Publikum. Weitere musikalische Gäste des Abends waren Black Eyed Peas, Rihanna, Kid Rock, Mary J. Blige, Miley Cyrus and Mariah Carey.
