It’s always nice when the gays and the straights come out to party together!
The gay and lesbian magazine The Advocate has put together an impressive gaggle of boldface names to host its big 40th anniversary party next month here in Los Angeles.
Ellen DeGeneres and T.R. Knight will be joined by the city’s mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa; actors Heather Matarazzo, Jane Lynch, John Stamos and Julian McMahon; political commentator and comedian Bill Maher; gay war veteran Marine Sgt. Eric Alva (he was the first American wounded in the war in Iraq); and Hairspray producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.
