There's no way to say this without sounding like the office's designated crazy dog lady but here goes: The verdict is still out on whether Ving Rhames' dogs killed his caretaker. The animals—three mastiffs and a bulldog—have been taken to an animal shelter where officials are examining them. So, why the rush to judgment?
It's a tragic story, but let's wait for the facts to come out before labeling the dogs as vicious killers. The sensational headlines are disrespectful to the victim, Ving and his pets. Besides, who's gonna print a retraction if it turns out the animals are innocent? It's not like they can sue for defamation of character.
