Crisscrossing the Country: Chris Evans Parties, Hoff Talks, Madge Lightens Up

The Fourth of July is upon us, but the good times started this weekend with some of our favorite celebs. Read on to learn about Chris Evans' birthday bash, Madonna's green highlights and an explanation for what those two hot dudes in the picture were up to in Sin City.

Evans' annual co-birthday bash with pal Eric Podwall at the Wallop Lounge at Eleven in L.A. brought out the King of Rock 'n' Roll's granddaughter. Riley Keough, model daughter of Lisa Marie Presley, was lovey-dovey with her boyfriend, Ashlee Simpson's ex, Ryan Cabrera.

Evans, while sipping on p.i.n.k. vodka cocktails and Monster energy drink, was the object of many affections, including those of Alison Lohman and Friday Night Lights starlet Minka Kelly.

Lauren Conrad appeared to have nabbed Paris Hilton's former pretty boy-toy, Josh Henderson. They left the bash hand in hand.

Meanwhile, Bernie Mac hosted producer Steve Greener's 40th birthday bash in the Candle Lounge at hot spot restaurant One Sunset. Guests—including Dylan McDermott and newly single Jennifer Esposito—chowed down on Erica's Badass cheeseburgers, buffalo chicken skewers, surf and turf tacos, the One house salad and mac 'n' cheese carbonara.

Across the room, One Sunset investor Lance Bass was dining with friends for the second time that week at the restaurant.

David Hasselhoff left diners at Chinese restaurant Genghis Cohen scratching their heads. "He was pacing around the restaurant on his cell phone and talking very loudly," an eyewitness at the L.A. eatery tells me. "He was calling himself 'Hassle.' "

And for those interested in such things, Madonna had some follicle work done. Hair colorist Steven Tapp from L.A.'s Argyle Salon and Spa jetted to NYC, according to a press release, to give Madge "blond highlights" and a "smudge" just in time for her five-song performance at the upcoming Live Earth concert in London July 7.

As for the muscled boys above, no, they are not friends of Madonna's. They're Chris Nuñez and Ami James from the TLC reality show Miami Ink. They showed off some of their body art while soaking up rays at the Bare pool lounge at the Mirage in Las Vegas. The guys enjoyed lobster tacos, Bloody Mary pitchers and shots of chilled Grey Goose vodka.
