Charlie Sheen Live Show Goes From Boos to "Bombs"

First, came the boos. Then, came the bad, no, terrible reviews.
Yes, Warlock fans, Charlie Sheen's "My Violent Torpedo of Truth" stage show bombed. It says so right in the headlines. A sampling:

And, of course, the inevitable:

If there's any saving grace for the self-described "unemployed winner," it's that "Charlie Sheen bombs" somehow isn't a Google trending topic.
But that really is the only bright spot because the critical reviews for the show (which, yes, was reviewed just as if it were real, live theatrical entertainment as opposed to a big, fat mess) were just as bad, no, worse than the headlines.
"The padded and disjointed show was a hodgepodge of video clips and Sheen-isms that felt hastily assembled and misjudged the patience of even the hardest of hardcore fans," said Entertainment Weekly.
"…[T]he audience got a spectacle, all right—a show from a controversial superstar who went from confidence to desperation," offered the Detroit Free Press, which asked, "Why would anyone pay to see [this] show?"
"…[T]his thrown-together, insanely self-indulgent showcase merely reveals someone far more sad and delusional," judged the Hollywood Reporter.
Summed up E! News' own Ken Baker: "So was it a winning performance? Not so much."
As for Sheen's review of the reviews?
The man has been been holding his Twitter tongue. At last look, his most recent dispatch concerned a Twitpic posted during an apparently more well-received moment of Saturday's show.
The former Two and a Half Men star is set to return to the stage tonight in Chicago.
