Britney Vid: Through Thick and Thin
Here's the skinny. You can check out the new Britney "Piece of Me" vid on YouTube right here. It's a retro-sounding dance track that has Brit sing/talking about all the 'razzi stalking and media frenzy. Sure, that vocoder effect on her voice makes her sound like a robot, but it also sounds like it could be a club hit.
We're not part of the Britney's-so-fat haters club, but we noticed she looks amazingly svelte here. Turns out, there was a lot of video slimming done in postproduction. Some side-by-side, before-and-after footage that leaked onto the net already got pulled down, but gossip mogul Perez Hilton still has a couple of pics that tell the tale.
It's sad that Brit thinks she needs to resort to this sort of visual trickery, but sadder still that some schmuck who worked on the video leaked the footage.
Our take: Somebody find that guy and fire him.
