Natalie Portman paid up.

More than a year ago, the Oscar winner visited Ellen DeGeneres' daytime set for an interview. At the time, she was pregnant with her second child and the curious comedian wanted to know the sex of baby number two. Portman claimed not to know what she was having, but DeGeneres had an inkling the star was going to have a girl, so the two agreed to a bet: $1,000 dollars...and pizza. "Food-related bets I will always take," Portman quipped at the time.

Well, fast forward two months later and the Jackie star gave birth to daughter Amalia Millepied. Needless to say, the comedian emerged the champion of their bet. On Wednesday, the women reunited once again on DeGeneres' set to talk her upcoming movie, Annihilation—and for the host to collect her winnings.

"I said it was a girl," DeGeneres recalled. "And you were correct," Portman confirmed.

The actress also admitted to secretly knowing what she was having at the time. "I maybe did, but maybe didn't want to tell everybody in the world," the star admitted. "I still made the bet because I thought it would show either way if I didn't."

As a result, Portman made a $1,000 donation to the Ellen DeGeneres Wildlife Fund, which her wife Portia de Rossi recently launched as a 60th birthday gift to her to support global conservation efforts for critically endangered species.

As for Portman, she's certainly a woman of her word!
