Justin Timberlake is looking to be Bourne again as Ashton Kutcher.

The singer-actor-dancer is upgrading himself from triple to quadruple threat as producer of an MTV reality show.

The star turned up to the cable net's upfront presentation in New York today to announce production on The Phone, a series set to debut this fall that is being touted (by those involved, natch) as a "real-life Bourne Identity," albeit a completely Matt-Damon-less one.

And, from the sound of things, a completely Justin-Timberlake-less version as well, at least as far as onscreen eye candy is concerned.

Based on a Dutch reality series, the MTV version will hide two cell phones at opposite ends of a major U.S. metropolis. The phones will ring at exactly the same time, and whoever picks up will be given five seconds to agree to the terms of the game and then be sent on a series of city-traversing missions guided by a mysterious voice and followed by a helicopter.

Should they succeed, per the network, a "huge cash prize" awaits them.

But really, the announcement of an MTV show that Speidi can't infiltrate may be prize enough.
