The hot tamale train has officially pulled back into the station.

So You Think You Can Dance returns for season 14 tonight, and something about it just feels right. After taking a season to welcome kids and teens to the SYTYCD stage, Fox's dance competition series is not only bringing back adult contestants, but original judge Mary Murphy is also returning with her signature "woo!" after taking a couple of seasons off.

Vanessa Hudgens is also joining the panel as the newest judge alongside Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe, and E! News has your exclusive first look at one of the auditions from tonight's premiere.

The contestant, 18 year-old Darius Hickman from Green Acres, FL, definitely seems to impress the judges during his contemporary number, as you can hear their reactions throughout his audition. He also has an incredibly tragic story that he shares with the judges and host Cat Deeley along with his incredible moves.

As for whether Darius makes it onto the show, you'll have to wait until tonight's premiere to find out, but something tells us those splits are getting him a ticket straight past the choreography round to the callbacks, where 10 all-star former contestants will have a hand in choosing who continues to the next round.

SYTYCD's Los Angeles auditions begin airing tonight and will continue next week.

So You Think You Can Dance premieres tonight at 8 p.m. on Fox.
