Sofia Vergara and Brie Larson to Present at the 2017 Golden Globes

Steve Carell and Anna Kendrick are also schedule to appear onstage on January 8, 2017

Sofia Vergara and Brie Larson will add at touch of glitz to the 2017 Golden Globes.

As revealed exclusively on E! News Wednesday, the actresses are both scheduled to present when the annual awards show is telecast live on NBC from inside the Beverly Hilton on Jan. 8, 2017. Earlier in the day, actors Anna Kendrick and Steve Carell were also named as presenters.

Vergara, 44, will walk the red carpet at the Golden Globes for the first time in three years. She has received four nominations for her role as Gloria Pritchett on ABC's Modern Family. Larson, meanwhile, earned her first Golden Globe nomination in 2016 for her role as Joy Newsome in Room. The 27-year-old actress later won the award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama.

2017 Golden Globes: Notable Nominees

Kendrick, along with Don Cheadle and Laura Dern, announced the nominees Dec. 12. She received a nomination for her role in 2009's Up in the Air. Carell has been nominated eight times (most recently in 2015). He won once in 2006 for his role as Michael Scott in The Office.

In August, Jimmy Fallon was tapped to host the event. In November, Meryl Streep—the most nominated person—was revealed as the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award honoree.

Nominations for the 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards were announced Nov. 12. La La Land, co-starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, leads the film categories nominees with seven, while FX's The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story leads the TV nominees with five.
