Elle Fanning did exactly what most people would do should they come into contact with Channing Tatum: creepily follow him until you can snap a picture.

The 20th Century Women actress appeared on The Tonight Show Wednesday and opened up about the time she and her friend attended a Beyoncé concert, only to realize the Step Up hunk was sitting next to them. Fanning explained that she and her pal went to go grab hot dogs, and when they returned to their seats they noticed there was an older man in their row.

"I was like, 'You have to sit next to the dad that's bringing his daughters to the Beyoncé concert!'" Fanning recalled telling her friend. "And then he looked up and it was Channing Tatum. I was so jealous I was like, 'Move! Move!'"

After realizing whom it was, Fanning and co. couldn't keep their eyes off of him despite being in the presence of Queen Bey. "We talked to him a little bit. He was with his wife [Jenna Dewan-Tatum]," she contined. "We were watching Beyoncé but we were also watching him, Magic Mike."

Even though the Live by Night actress is a celebrity in her own right, she didn't have the courage to ask Tatum for a photo; she's a true fangirl. "I wanted to play it cool," she admitted.

What Fanning did next proved she's just like us—she asked someone else to take a picture of her and her friend but made sure to sneak Tatum in the background. The result was an incredibly blurry photo of the duo with Tatum and his wife looking at Beyoncé. It might not be the best quality, but she did get her picture!
