The silence is ending soon, Degrassi fans.

After delivering one of the longrunning teen show's most shocking cliffhangers ever, Netflix has announced Degrassi: Next Class will return for its third season on Friday, Jan. 6, and will finally reveal which beloved character is in critical condition after the bus crash in the season two finale.

And E! News' has your first look at the show's return, with the haunting teaser above, which finds the characters in jeopardy talking about the horrific accident.

So which characters are in danger? Maya (Olivia Scriven), Zig (Ricardo Hoyos), Tristan (Lyle Lettau), Jonah (Ehren Kassam), Grace (Nikki Gould) and Tiny (Richard Walters) were all on the bus to the volleyball game when it crashed.

As we learned in the finale, no fatalities had been reported, but at least one student was being transported to the hospital in critical condition, with others needing medical attention as well.

"No one saw it coming," Zig says of the accident, while Jonah adds, "It happened so fast." The last person to speak is Maya, who says, "And then it went quiet." Hm...should we take these three talking about what happened as confirmation that they are not critically injured? Should we be more concerned about Tristan, Grace and Tiny then?!

The actors were just as shocked by the cliffhanger as fans were, with the show posting a video from the finale table-read. "It's an awesome cliffhanger, but oh my God," Ricardo said of the crash. And it seems like no one knew if they were sage, as creator and executive producer Linda Schuyler said, "I see some worried faces around the room!"
