Ryan Gosling has three ladies to buy for this Christmas, though he's not feeling the present pressure just yet.

After cradling Ellen DeGeneres in his arms during an appearance on her daytime talk show Friday, the actor and father of two discussed what the holidays will be like for his family of four. Fortunately for mom and dad, 2-year-old Esmeralda and 7-month old Amada don't quite understand what all the fuss is about.

"Es was a little too young last year," he recalled. "I don't think she understands that you can ask for something just yet. It's a real sweet spot. We can give her anything!"

While he didn't want to reveal what he plans on gifting his real life leading lady, Eva Mendes, he did note something he hopes Santa will bring him this year—a Roomba!

"We should get a Roomba for our Roomba," he said. "I feel bad for it because it works tirelessly and at night I can hear it cleaning and I just feel bad for it."

Luckily for the La La Land star, DeGeneres knows him all too well. "I know more about you than you think I do," she bragged as she gifted him a Roomba with her face on it. "It's a lot more beautiful than the one I have," he quipped.

Ryan Gosling: Movie Star!

With that taken care of, maybe Santa can bring the actor a new piano—after all, he's now a bonafide player.

Gosling revealed he learned how to tickle the keys in just three months for his new role alongside Emma Stone. "For me, it was a great opportunity to sit down for three months and practice," he said. "I have a keyboard that I carried around with me anytime I had a spare second, I was practicing. It was a lot."

If the time restraint wasn't enough of for the triple threat, director Damien Chazelle wanted to film the singing, dancing, acting and piano playing all in one shot.

"There was no trick photography. There was no room to make a mistake," he explained. "It adds to the experience of the movie because I think when you're watching it, you realize that this could all come apart at any second."

No wonder Stone told Ellen she sweat a lot during filming!
