What was your first job?
A summer waitressing job.

How did you get into the industry?
I've always just loved fashion.

What's a typical day like for you?
Wake up, drink coffee, respond to emails, drive my son to school, try to squeeze a workout in, go into the store and spend as much time as I can with customers, race home, make dinner, help with homework, watch some reality TV and hit the sack!

Who are some of the shop's celeb shoppers?
Gwen Stefani, Lori Loughlin and Courtney Cox.

Who do you love working with the most?
Lori because she loves fashion and looks beautiful in everything she puts on.

Gratus offers a unique and expertly curated collection of contemporary and designer clothes from around the globe. We pride ourselves on personalized customer service from our team of seasoned stylists. We know our customers and what's going on in their lives and buy our clothes with their personalities and needs in mind.

Tell us about your workspace décor.
Our office is clean and functional. It is a simple yet inviting space that's always busy and lively with vendors coming and going, frequent deliveries and visits from customers. We have an open door policy between the office and the store and you can often find customers eating lunch with us, using our computers or making a call in our offices.

What's the best part about your career?
Developing close personal relationships with customers and making them feel the best they can about themselves.

What's the most daring career risk you've ever taken?
Opening up a 600-square-foot, second floor, back-alley boutique in the shopping mecca of Beverly Hills, and believing that people would come!

Roarke from Soul Cycle.

What's the best piece of advice you've ever recieved?
Buy what sells.

What exciting things do you have coming up?
Holiday windows, great new season of deliveries, trunk shows for Co and Juan Carlos Obando. And lots of other fun holiday finds!
