When it's time for Prince George and Princess Charlotte to blow out the candles, the world may just be watching.

For the past three years, royal fans have been able to experience several birthdays relating to Prince William and Kate Middleton's adorable children.

And while these celebrations may not be documented on Snapchat or #sponsored on social media, fans are still able to experience the love and joy on their special days.

When Princess Charlotte turned the big 12 months, the youngest family member received gifts from a whopping 64 countries.

While President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama gifted the young royal a stuffed animal version of their Portuguese water dog and a jigsaw puzzle, Canada's prime minister gave Charlotte a snowsuit, book and $79,200 donation to Immunize Canada.

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are incredibly grateful for all the letters, gifts and good wishes they have been fortunate to receive in the year since Princess Charlotte was born," the palace said in a statement at the time.

Not to be outdone, older brother Prince George has had his fair share of celebrations. On his first birthday, mom and dad threw a Peter Rabbit-themed bash at their Kensington Palace home where several family members including Queen Elizabeth and Prince Harry were in attendance.

One year later, the birthday boy was able to ring in his special day at the family's country home in Norfolk.

And before you think Prince George doesn't receive any special gifts, you better think again. When turning two, the young royal received  an £18,000 abode on wheels.

"He got too many things, he's far too spoiled," Prince William told reporters at the America's Cup World Series of Yacht Racing after his son's third birthday. "He's not into boats yet."

Perhaps the greatest gift to fans of this tight-knit family is the simple fact that the palace has been known to release new family photos on special occasions such as birthdays. Don't act like you forgot about those photos on May 1 featuring Princess Charlotte and her pink bows.

With the next sibling birthday not until May 2017, our wish is for fresh pics around the holidays. And what about half-birthdays mom and dad? Here's to hoping.
