Scandal is keeping it in the family for season six. The ABC series from Shonda Rhimes has added Zoe Perry, the real-life daughter of Jeff Perry—Cyrus Beene on Scandal—in a recurring role.

Zoe Perry's role is being kept under wraps, naturally. It is Scandal after all.

When viewers last checked in with Scandal, Cyrus was named vice-presidential candidate. The election results will be resolved when the series returns in January and as the season six poster teases, there will be a shift in power. Hmm…

Zoe's TV credits in NCIS, The Family, Private Practice, Grey's Anatomy and My Boys. She also played a younger version of Jackie twice on Roseanne, fitting because her mom is Laurie Metcalf or Roseanne and Getting On fame.

Zoe Perry won't be the only new face when Scandal returns for its sixth season. Glee and Vikings veteran Jessalyn Gilsig has joined the cast as Vanessa. She replaces Joelle Carter in the role of Jake's (Scott Foley) wife. Carter played the role in season five, but is a series regular on NBC's Chicago Justice, the latest series in Dick Wolf's Chicago franchise.

Scandal season six was held for midseason to accommodate star Kerry Washington's pregnancy. Like her first pregnancy, this one isn't expected to be written into the series.

"As far as I know, we're going to be hiding things," she told E! News in June. "But stay tuned!

Now we play the "What will Scandal use to hide the baby bump this time?" game.

Scandal returns Thursday, January 19 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
