This morning's forecast calls for sunshine and a big chance of happy baby news.

Today show co-host and meteorologist Dylan Dreyer has welcomed her first child, a baby boy, with husband Brian Fichera.

Brian shared the exciting news on Instagram Saturday, captioning a snapshot of their little one's hospital label, "From this day forward my entire life is dedicated to always being there for our son. Dylan is doing amazing baby is doing amazing!!! Thank you all for your kind words!!! Cue parenting!"

The announcement comes just a few short weeks after the Today show family treated the mom-to-be with a heartfelt baby shower.

Kathie Lee Gifford, Hoda Kotb, Savannah Guthrie, Tamron Hall and Jenna Bush Hager were all in attendance for the intimate celebration held at Hunt & Fish Club in NYC.

"Feeling so loved thanks to the ladies of @todayshow celebrating this special time with me!" Dylan wrote on Instagram shortly after getting spoiled. "Can't wait to meet the little man in just a few more weeks!!"

A few months earlier, Dylan also gave fans an inside look at her baby boy's nursery. The space was filled with plenty of personal touches including more than a few four-wheel paintings to complement the car theme.

While the new mom confessed that she's no expert in diaper duties, the Today star couldn't hide her excitement at expanding the family. And while there were a few fears and jitters, Dylan knew she had her supportive husband by her side.

"I'm 35, and I've always just lived my life and now I feel like there's going to be this moment where I live my life for someone else...What if I don't like the way my life changes?" she recently shared on Today. "Then I just sit back and it's like, OK. And I get into that excited phase again where I just can't wait to meet this little guy."

She later added, "I've asked people to try to explain to me why having a baby changes your life in a way you could never imagine. No one can put it into words, but when I saw this little guy and watched him dance around and touch his hand to his face, I fell in love instantly. A love I, too, can't put into words."

Congratulations to the happy couple on their big news!
