What's life without a little song?

James Corden proved there's a tune for every moment in life when he enlisted the help of Tony Award nominee Anna Kendrick and comedian Billy Eichner for a multi-layered musical sketch.

"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once and awhile, you could miss it," Corden told the audience, quoting Ferris Bueller's Day Off. "So, tonight, we have 14 songs, 10 sets, one take and 0 pressure."

From birth to starting their own family, the three stars chronicled the ordinary moments that make up an extraordinary life. First up, Salt-N-Pepa's "Push It" for the hospital delivery room—pun fully intended.

Next, Adele's "Hello" made for a proper introduction to the world while Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely" chronicled Kendrick's toddler years with her proud papa.

Unfortunately, those years don't last for long. Kendrick transitioned into a misunderstood teenager with help from Madonna's "Papa Don't Preach" and then fooled around with her beau, Corden, to the tune of the icon's "Like a Virgin."

By the time they know it, they're ushering in their college graduation with Fun's "We Are Young" and quickly off to the daily grind with Dolly Parton's "9 to 5."

Married bliss arrived with the Dixie Cups' "Going to the Chapel of Love" and they set the mood for baby-making with Salt-N-Pepa's "Let's Talk About Sex."

Before Corden and Kendrick know it, they're back in the delivery room to become parents themselves.

Just like that, it's the "Circle of Life"—"and it moves us all."
