It won't be all legal fights on The Good Fight—love is in the air for The Good Wife spinoff. E! News has learned Justin Bartha, who was last seen in Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life, has joined the cast as a series regular as Colin.

Bartha's character is described as a rising star in the State's Attorney's office—and one of the city's most eligible bachelors. But will he stay one for long? Romantic sparks fly when he squares off against Lucca (Cush Jumbo) in the courtroom.

Behind the Scenes of The Good Wife Series Finale

"Whenever you're looking for a romantic lead, you look for someone who can play the comedy and the sexuality, but even more importantly is the intelligence," Robert and Michelle King, The Good Fight executive producers and co-creators, said in a statement. "And that's what we love about Justin: he can play all three: the comedy and the sexuality, but he's also convincing as a tough intellectual foe to Cush Jumbo in court. We couldn't be happier."

The Good Fight picks up a year after the events of The Good Wife series finale. Lucca is no longer at Lockhart & Lee—and neither is Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski). A financial scheme wipes out Diane, causing the firm to kick her to the curb. She joins Lucca at her new firm and must pick up the pieces. Sarah Steele will return as Marissa Gold, Game of Thrones' Rose Leslie plays Maia, Diane's goddaughter, Delroy Lindo plays Robert Boseman and Erica Tazel of Justified also stars.

Bernadette Peters and Paul Guilfoyle will recur as Maia's parents. Returning players also include Gary Cole, Zach Greiner and Jerry Adler.

The Good Fight premieres on CBS in February before moving to CBS All Access, the network's streaming platform.
