Taylor Swift's breakup ballads have undoubtedly mended more than a few broken hearts over the years, and her sixth studio album might just continue that trend.

An insider reveals to E! News exclusively that the pop music sensation is back in the studio working on new music, and she's already written songs about exes Tom Hiddleston and Calvin Harris. Surprising? Not completely. Exciting? Um, yes!

There's always a chance the tracks won't make it on the record's final edit, but fingers crossed that music lovers everywhere will finally hear some insight into Taylor's side of the story. The "Shake It Off" songstress and Hiddleston split in early September after a brief, whirlwind romance in the public eye. Swift previously dated Harris for about a year and a half, ultimately calling it quits in June.

And as much as Swifties would love to see T. Swift go all "Bad Blood" on her former flames, the source explains to us that she's kept it totally amicable with both the Thor actor and Scottish DJ (real name Adam Wiles), and her lyrics reflect that.

"[Taylor] has spoken to Adam on text," the source explains, adding that it's less talk about "getting back together" and "more of a friendly check-in." Additionally, our source says, "She also is on good terms with Tom at this point."

Aside from her personal life, Swift's kept her musical endeavors mostly out of the limelight in 2016. Back in October, the 26-year-old performed her first and only concert of the year at the Formula U.S. 1 Grand Prix in Austin, Tex. In addition to her usual hits, Taylor blazed through a stripped-down rendition of "This Is What You Came For," the song she wrote for Harris and Rihanna

E! News previously reported Swift is collaborating with Drake on new music that promises a "different" but "very catchy" sound. At the time, an insider told us, "They've both been having a great time in the studio."

Regardless of what actually comes to fruition in her follow-up to 1989, when Tay puts pen to paper, music magic always ensues.
