Now this wasn't the baby news you were probably expecting today!

Michael Ealy is officially a father for the second time, appearing on the Steve Harvey Show Wednesday with the surprise announcement. The Secrets And Lies star recently welcomed a baby girl with wife Khatira Rafiqzada, though it's currently unclear when she made her arrival. The couple of four years also share a 2-year-old son named Elijah

Ealy, 43, couldn't help but gush about fatherhood with Steve Harvey, telling the talk show host, "I just discovered a whole new love. I've never ever felt this way before. I was wondering if I could love another child as much as I love my son. And what I realized, within hours of my daughter being born, not only do I love her just as much if not more.

The Hollywood hunk continued, "It's a special kind of protective love. Within two hours, I understood your emotions at your daughter's wedding." As if we needed another reason to be utterly in love with this guy...

Harvey then reflected on his own daughter's wedding day: "It was this little girl who I had promised to always take care of, no matter what happened... I didn't want to let her go. And I gave her to the dude. And at the father-daughter dance, I was bent, man. It's a crazy moment. You're going to have that moment."

But for now, Michael and Khatira's primary focus will surely be on diapers and pacifiers as opposed to engagement rings and wedding plans, and that's A-OK!

Ealy's latest confession is far from the first time he's dropped a bombshell about his personal life. The actor quietly married his longtime girlfriend back in October 2012, two months before news of their nuptials broke. And two years later, Michael announced his wife had given birth to a baby boy.

As for why he keeps private details well, private, the Think Like a Man actor revealed that his decision to remain out of the limelight came naturally.

"I don't live my life in a social way," he shared with Wendy Williams. "I don't put everything out on social media. I don't live that reality lifestyle. At the same time, I've always been private, ever since I was in high school. Like, people think, ‘Oh, you're in Hollywood,' I'm like, ‘No, no.' If you knew me in high school, you knew. I learned then, if you want something to work, if it means that much to you, keep it to yourself."

Congratulations, you two!
