Drew Barrymore is gearing up for Christmas!
The Flower Beauty founder caught up with E! News at the debut Drew's Shutterfly holiday gift collection and told us all about how she and her kids, Frankie Kopelman and Olive Kopelman, are gearing up for the holiday season—and there are a lot of festive activities happening!
"My kids live for glitter," Drew told us. "I have a vacuum, so I say live your glitter dreams."
The Charlie's Angels star admitted that as a kid she dreamed of decorating her house with family, so when she grew up and had kids of her own she began the tradition. Each year they pull down the box "marked Christmas" and decorate the house. "The box is so memory-jarring," she said.
Although she and Will Kopelman have decided to split, their family dynamic hasn't changed a bit. "We are a family," she said. "We're actually blood related. My friends are my family my whole life...they're my family. Will's family is my family, and my daughters are my family. I never thought I'd be so lucky to have so many families!"
Will and Drew finalized their divorce in early August, only a month after they originally announced their split. In what might seem as the friendliest divorce of all time, neither contested each other's paperwork nor did they battle for custody over their two daughters.
They released a joint statement at the time, saying, "Sadly our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family. Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on. Our children are our universe, and we look forward to living the rest of our lives with them as the first priority."
