We can't say it enough times—you must see La La Land.
Emma Stone stars as an aspiring actress in Hollywood who falls in love with a jazz pianist played by Ryan Gosling.
The movie is an original musical and it hits theaters on Dec. 9.
The chemistry between Stone and Gosling is so good (again!), it may make your heart explode.

The trailer opens with Stone at an audition followed by the first time she sees Mr. Gosling playing piano at a restaurant.
The music gets louder as the two embrace for a kiss.
Then we catch them dancing together in L.A.'s iconic Griffith Park. Gosling encourages Stone to write her own scripts while telling her about his dreams of opening his own jazz club.
When Stone doubts if she's good enough to make it in Hollywood, Gosling assures her, "Yes, you are!"
"It's like a pipe dream," Stone says.
But Gosling says, "This is the dream. It's conflict and it's comprise and it's very very exciting."
La La Land has the color and swing of an old fashioned musical, but director and writer Damien Chazelle (yup, the same guy behind the Oscar-winning Whiplash) has created a contemporary masterpiece that you can't help but fall in love with.
