Tommy Ford's Martin co-stars gathered together to remember their late friend during his memorial service on Wednesday.
The actor—best known for his role as Tommy Strawn in the '90s sitcom—suddenly died last week, taking all of his friends and family members by surprise. They admitted it was still difficult for them to wrap their head around it as they attended his funeral service this week.
Carl Payne took to Instagram to pay tribute to Ford, sharing a photo alongside several of the other Martin stars, including Tichina Arnold and Tisha Martin.
"Today wasn't easy," he captioned the photo. "We laid our brother to rest."
He continued, "However through God's grace and the love, support, and prayers of friends, family and loved ones all is well..Keys all remember and celebrate the man who brought so much joy and laughter to our lives.. Tommy Ford."
Arnold shared the same photo, writing, "Today was not easy..but by the grace of God we all got through it. Words cannot express our gratitude for all of your Prayers, Positive thoughts and Support for us throughout the years. Tommy will be missed but most certainly never forgotten..."
Ford passed away on Oct. 12 after being on life support in an Atlanta hospital due to a ruptured aneurysm in his abdomen.
"It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved son, father, brother, husband, and friend Tommy Mykal Ford," his family told E! News in a statement after his death. "On behalf of the family, we would like to thank everyone for their love, support and prayers. Funeral arrangements will be forthcoming. Please respect the privacy of the Ford family during our time of grief."
