Leave the extravagant wedding ceremony and sticky prenuptial agreement for another day: Some of Hollywood's most beloved partnerships are taking their sweet time to the altar (and it's actually a good thing).

Take Adele and longtime beau Simon Konecki for example, who despite being together for five years and welcoming son Angelo James in 2012, have yet to ring their very own wedding bells. And that's not to say Adele and Simon's love is any less valid than those who do, because as the Brit's latest romantic gesture proves, they're perfectly content in the shooting thousands of handwritten love notes into a concert arena kind-of-way.

In the spirit of these famous lovebirds' leisurely pace, sit back, relax and enjoy seven more couples who will still most likely be engaged by the time you're done reading this:

Olivia Wilde & Jason Sudeikis

Pair a rambunctious toddler and a newborn baby girl with two booming careers in the spotlight, and it's no wonder Olivia and Jason have put marriage on the back burner following their 2013 engagement.

According to the 32-year-old Vinyl actress, the gorgeous couple doesn't need a marriage license—they have a far more powerful force uniting them in pure wedded baby bliss.

"We are seriously connected," she told NET-A-PORTER.com's The EDIT in February. "Before you have a child, marriage is the ultimate commitment and promise to one another, and then once you have a child, it's like, ‘Oh, we're committed and promised already.'"

Eva Mendes & Ryan Gosling

The jury's still out on the particulars of this case, but speculation mounted Gosling popped the question in 2015 when his partner of five years stepped out sporting a stunning emerald ring on multiple occasions.

Rumor mill aside, the actress and her hunky man share two daughters together, 2-year-old Esmeralda and Amada born in April of this year.

Ryan recently told Good Morning America he's fully embraced the girl-to-boy ratio in the Mendes-Gosling household, gushing, "It's heaven. It's like walking through a field of flowers every day. I live with angels." Never change, Gosling.

Jennifer Hudson & David Otunga

The American Idol alum and retired professional wrestler have been engaged since 2008 and have a son together named David Jr.; however, they haven't exchanged vows just yet.

"The ring is still there, and we will get married one day," Hudson explained to Wendy Williams in 2014. "But again, my thing is, once I get married, I don't believe in divorce. And so, when I get married, it's for good. We want to be completely sure we're together, we're happy, when it's time."

But after attending BFF Ciara and Russell Wilson's fairy tale wedding, Hudson told Essence in August, "I don't know, it inspired something. I just loved her dress. It was so beautiful. So that made me say, okay, all [of] my friends and peers are married now. You know what I mean?"

Ain't no pressure like your closest friends tying the knot, that's for sure.

Robert Pattinson & FKA Twigs:

It's been 18 months since the Twilight alum took his whirlwind romance to the British pop star to the next level, and the pair are presumably still enjoying the honeymoon stage of their engagement.

So when reports surfaced Pattinson and his ladylove called it quits last year, an insider squashed the speculation by telling E! News, "There isn't a rush to get married. Fall plans turned into winter plans and now there are no specific plans, but they still plan on getting married."

In fact, the dynamic duo stepped out at the 2016 Met Gala looking more in love than ever. Take that, romance naysayers!

Rachel Bilson & Hayden Christensen

Although the Hollywood darlings suffered a brief, three-month setback two years after their 2008 engagement, Rachel and Hayden jumped right back into love when the pair welcomed their baby girl Briar Rose in 2014.

"I've been in my relationship for seven years, so we've grown up together in a way," the O.C. star told Health in 2014. "This is my partner, my support, just there for me no matter what."

Interest in the couple's potential to finally say "I do" piqued in June of this year when Bilson, 35, shared a photo from her brother's special day captioned, "Countdown #brotherswedding always a bridesmaid....."

Alessandra Ambrosio & Jamie Mazur

With an eight-year engagement and two young children under their belts, fans have been waiting on the edge of their seats to hear Victoria's Secret Model's plans to wed her main man. In 2015, Ambrosio admitted to Extra she's waiting for her demanding work schedule to calm down before planning a major celebration, but a few months later she sang a different, albeit hilarious, tune.

"I actually lost my engagement ring a few years ago, so I do want to replace it. I don't know if he's going to make me replace it myself since I lost it!" Ambrosio told Vogue in May. Something tells us Jamie's since forgiven you, Alessandra.

Emma Bunton & Jade Jones

Since saying "Yes!" to the English rapper-turned-chef and father of her two sons in 2010, the Spice Girls singer chalks her extra-long engagement up to plain 'ol forgetfulness.

Dishing to Essentials magazine in 2015, Bunton admitted, "We're always like, 'Oh, we should do that one day, shouldn't we?' And then we're like, 'Yeah, when? I dunno,' and then we forget about it."

"We're both Aquarians and terrible at organizing things, so I was gobsmacked he'd even managed to organize [a proposal,] never mind either of us planning an actual wedding," Baby Spice added.
