Hear that? It's the sound of people crying, "Photoshop!"

Only, it isn't Photoshop.

Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid appear on the cover of W magazine's 10th Anniversary Art Issue, and let's just say they look...different. Transformed by artists Lizzie Fitch and Ryan Trecartin, Kendall and Gigi take on an entirely new look (and face) for the cover and inside spread.

In the project titled "Placebo Pets," KenGi appear as super friendly, domesticated humanoid pets. The idea grew out of the artists wondering: "Who would survive if a superior alien humanoid species came to Earth?" Their answer: "The friendliest," the magazine reveals.

Kendall dons a prosthetic nose to become a "bunny-cat," while Gigi transforms into a "lion-fox" with the help of some prosthetic pointy ears.

"There's a certain power that animals have over us when they respond to us in unexpected, friendly ways," Trecartin tells W. "And it's really them domesticating us almost more than us domesticating them, because they're training us to want them. Training and taming something is not one-sided.

"We created social media, but then it changed us because we interacted with it. It transforms us and transforms the next thing that happens just by existing. You can't really avoid being trained."

Although Kendall's and Gigi's famed features have been completely changed, there are still hints of them left behind. Kendall and Gigi are two of the biggest models on the planet, and it seems like they can now say they've really done it all.
