Sofía Vergara knows that the struggle is real and since she's so great at these selfies, she and her niece Claudia Vergara are showing us how it's done.
"The one thing that I know is that you need to have a funny case so that you can hold the phone perfectly and that makes it easier," the 44-year-old star explains. "We don't need a duck face, that's for sure. She likes doing duck faces, but that's one thing I don't understand, no one looks pretty doing this. There is nothing like a smile showing your beautiful teeth."
Because when Sofía suggest what we should do, we listen.
"We need lighting, and if you have a lot of flowers in the background like us, it's better," the Modern Family star said.
While promoting her fragrance Tempting by Sofía Vergara, the scarlet wants you to remember not to rock a duck face.
Aside from nailing the perfect selfie, Vergara has made a huge impact and taught stars like Ariel Winter how to love their bodies. The 18-year-old star credits her Modern Family co-star for helping her embrace her body shape and gain self-acceptance.
"Over the years, I had some really great role models. I worked with Sofía Vergara since I was a young girl and she helped me navigate being a curvy woman and being proud of it,"Ariel told Refinery 29.
