Watch: Does Jerry Seinfeld's 15-Year-Old Daughter Watch "Seinfeld"?

Jerry Seinfeld may be famous because of a show about nothing, but in real life he operates with a purpose.

Yesterday at the Palm Tribeca in New York, the sitcom star hosted the 2016 Fatherhood Lunch benefiting his wife Jessica Seinfeld's The Good+ Foundation, where guests such as Neil Patrick Harris and hubby David Burtka, Michael Strahan and Sam Champion gathered to show their support for the cause.

The foundation, which was started in 2001 following the birth of the couple's first child, puts a strong focus on encouraging fatherhood involvement in children's lives and provides resources and aid for families living in poverty.

And all jokes aside, you better believe Seinfeld is proud of his wife's good work.

"Its unbelievable," he told E! News at the event. "I didn't do this, this is all her work and dedication, a lot of work to build this. All the fundraising, being on the phone, etc. It's difficult. I am proud of her."

The comedian is also happy to be able to help other men realize how great a gift fatherhood can be.

"I feel great, I'm able to get other men into this experience of being fathers," Seinfeld added. "It's a great piece of life if you have a kid, it's the greatest thing in the world."

The man himself is a father of two sons, 11 and 13, and a daughter who's about to turn 16. Remembering what it was like watching new(!) episodes of Seinfeld as teenagers, we were curious as to whether Sascha Seinfeld is a fan.

"[My daughter] used to watch, but I haven't seen her watch lately," he admitted. "I can't tell because she's under the covers with the phone. So I don't really know what they're watching."

Sounds like your typical father-daughter relationship.

When asked if he would want his kids to follow in his footsteps into show business, the Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee star didn't hate the idea.

"I hope so, yeah! I would be very supportive of that," Jerry said. "It's a fun business. It's difficult, but every business is difficult."

As for what the the family has planned for Halloween, Jerry informs us that all his kids care about is candy (in addition to their phones, of course).

"They're getting to that point where they're like, 'What's the easiest way to get the candy?'" he joked. "They're not so into the characters, they're like, 'Can we just hit a few buildings with good candy and wrap it up.'"

Same, kids. Same.
