Maksim Chmerkovskiy is about to be a new parent with fiancee Peta Murgatroyd, and while there's plenty to learn when it comes first-time daddy jobs, figuring out how to put on a diaper is definitely high on the list.

Thus, the Dancing With the Stars professional has already started practicing, revealing his first ever "diaper-ing" attempt in an Instagram video for his fans and followers.

"Thank you @goodmorningamerica for hundreds of @pampersus and I want to show you that I'm taking this seriously! Here's my first attempt at diaper-ing..." he captioned the video, using the hashtags, "#workinprogress #thankgodmommyhasthishandled."

He gave us all the feels as he put his hand in the middle of the diaper and used two fingers as the baby's legs, laughing while he showed us how to do it...and, really, he wasn't bad at all!

Murgatroyd also shared a photo of her hubby's diaper, captioning the pic, "Practice makes perfect Daddy."

The couple—who got engaged last December—originally announced their pregnancy in May and later revealed they're expecting a bouncing baby boy.

Meanwhile, Chmerkovskiy just ended his stint on this season of Dancing With the Stars after his partner Amber Rose was eliminated Monday.

"My dearest Amberony," he began a long note to the model on Instagram. "Thank you for some of the best weeks of my @dancingabc career! You've not let me down and only made me more and more proud each week. You've become a friend and an older sister (although you're younger....you know what I mean :)), and this is definitely just the beginning of 'Amber and Maks.'"

He continued, "This experience got cut short and I wish we would have just a few more weeks, but it happened exactly as it were meant to and I have absolutely no regrets.  The world has yet to see what you can really do and I can't wait to be in your corner when it does.... Love, Me."
