The drama may be brewing in Ireland this week on Real Housewives of Orange County. But back home, Meghan King Edmonds is totally focused on her pregnancy journey.

As the Bravo star prepares for the birth of her first child with husband Jim Edmonds, E! News is learning more about how the couple is gearing up for their expanding family.

From the looks and sounds of things, it's pretty drama free.

"We just can't believe we've created this little baby together and can't wait to meet her. Jimmy is constantly doting on me, but he's usually very attentive," Meghan shared with E! News exclusively. "He has a close relationship with my parents and siblings and is happy my parents live so close. He's looking forward to having them at our house as much as possible! It's not a typical in-law relationship!"

While viewers have been able to follow Meghan's pregnancy on Bravo, her social media followers have learned that the mom-to-be is hard at work on the nursery. While it's not complete just yet, the #Hashtag Hats founder is excited at the progress she has made.

"It's more sophisticated than I anticipated with lots of statement pieces including an original painting I had commissioned, children's Versailles chairs from Restoration Hardware, a round crib in the center of the room and big, billowy puddled drapes," she explained. "Jim has great decorating ideas but he tends to under decorate. He thinks I over decorate, but he loves whatever I do. He's thrilled with the nursery!"

Although Meghan may have reached the eight-months mark, the Bravolebrity is still making time to travel and attend her family member's wedding. In addition, she recently participated in a maternity shoot where she posed in lingerie.

"It was hard to see all the new chub without a bump at first. Now that my bump has caught up I'm loving my womanly body," she explained after sharing a sneak peek on Instagram. "I'm fascinated by my body and how it nourishes our baby. I feel sexy!"

Looking ahead, Meghan has big dreams for her daughter who she hopes will be "kind, fair, informed, hard-working and compassionate."

And as fans continue to watch her journey, Meghan remains grateful for the support she's received from so many strangers.

"It's been so positive and supportive!" she admitted. "Everyone is so happy for me. Having a baby is such a universal joy that everyone can understand."
