Scrunchies were hot, neon was in, and those TGIF lineups made those long weeks of school so totally worth it. This decade was an odd one for couples, though, and for every Cory Matthews and Topanga Lawrence, there was a Halle Berry and Danny Wood.
Yeah, they really happened. Back in 1990, the future Oscar-winning actress and New Kids on the Block star were "going steady," as the kids used to say. Halle and Danny's romance was short lived, and while you probably forgot this couple ever happened, a certain boy-bander (understandably) wants to make sure we all remember.
During a 2013 appearance on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live, Danny told Andy Cohen rather nonchalantly about his former flame during a round of Plead the Fifth. "Well, everyone kinda knows this," he said, "I dated Halle Berry back in the day."
The NKOTB fellas confirmed it, with Joey McIntyre offering excitedly, "That's right! Our boy dated Halle Berry!"
