Kate Middleton may be royalty, but she's just like us in a lot of ways.,
Aside from mingling with some of the most powerful people in the world and calling Kensington Palace one of her homes, the Duchess of Cambridge is not above living as much of a normal life as possible.
For example, on Wednesday, Kate was traveling back to London after visiting the Netherlands—which marked her first solo royal trip abroad—and decided to fly coach on British Airways, still wearing her gorgeous pale blue skirt suit by Catherine Walker.
But this is far from the first time the Duchess has proven she's just like us...
She Recycles Outfits: You'd think that someone with a royal wardrobe would never be caught wearing the same ensemble twice, but Kate doesn't care about that. The princess has donned looks two, sometimes three times to various public events (check out the gallery above to see for yourself).
She Bargain Shops: Being a Duchess has never stopped Kate from copping a good deal. She's been spotted wearing $25 pants from The Gap, a $30 striped shirt (on several occasions) and even a fitted, floral TopShop maternity frock she found for $55.
She's Worn the Same Boots for a Decade: You've probably seen photos of the Duchess rocking knee-high brown riding boots from time to time. Most recently, she donned them while visiting the Tiger's Nest monastery in Bhutan. Just as we all have that one pair of shoes we just can't get rid of, Kate has actually had these Penelope Chilvers boots for over a decade. She was first photographed wearing them in 2004.
She Does Her Own Grocery Shopping: The mother-of-two has been spotted out grocery shopping many times. In fact, she was photographed for the first time after giving birth to Prince George while shopping at a local market.
She Shops Online: Many of Prince George's cutest ensembles were bought from online stores, proving Kate is just a regular (but still really cool) mom. You can check out the many outfits she's purchased for her son online here.
She Eats Fruit Snacks: Like any normal human being, Kate indulges every now and again...even if that means eating Scooby-Do fruit snacks while working with little kids, which she certainly appeared to enjoy.
She Buys Home Decor at Our Favorite Stores: OK, so welcoming the Obamas into her home is definitely not normal, but that's undermined by an even more important note: the Duchess buys decorations at common places like Zara Home and Anthropology! Yes, according to photos from her conversation with Michelle Obama, some of the billows and items of decor were purchased at places you can find at any mall.
Even She Fails Sometimes: Whether she's lacking archery skills or almost flashing onlooking photogs, wearing a snoozy ensemble or making an unflattering face in a photo, even Princess Kate has her off moments. No human is perfect (though she's probably the closest thing to it).
