AKM-GSIBella Hadid celebrated her 20th birthday in a star-studded yet low-key way.
The model said goodbye to her teenage years at New York City's Up & Down nightclub with boyfriend The Weeknd, Hailey Baldwin, Shanina Shaik, Justine Sky, DJ Ruckus, mom Yolanda Hadid and more models. Bella spent the beginning of the night by her mom's side but then cozied up to The Weeknd, who looked "very connected and in love throughout the night," a source tells E! News exclusively.
"They shared many birthday kisses and hugs."
But The Weeknd eventually made his way over to the DJ booth where he was spotted dancing the night away before he made his way to the dance floor with his ladylove. No birthday party would be complete without some cake, and our source tells us Bella's cake was huge and featured sparklers.
"It was a beautiful evening filled with close friends and family," the insider adds.
The brunette bombshell opted for a racy look, donning a see-through chainmail top and skirt. Bella avoided a wardrobe malfunction by wearing pasties and barely there underwear, and completed her look with silver heels.
Noticeably absent from Bella's festivities was sister Gigi Hadid, but she honored her sister's special day with an adorable throwback photo. "Happy Birthday to my baby sister @bellahadid Your beauty and beautiful heart blow me away more every day. You make me more proud than you'll ever know, and I feel so grateful that we get to experience so much by each other's side. Can't believe you're 20!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love ya miss ya kiss ya," she captioned the picture.
