The end is nigh.

The leading ladies of Freeform's Pretty Little LiarsTroian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Lucy Hale, Shay Mitchell and Sasha Pieterse—convened Wednesday for a final table read. In late August, E! News confirmed that the series will end in 2017 after seven seasons. Before it began, the girls huddled together on the Warner Bros. lot and took a selfie to commemorate the occasion.

Hale later put the picture on Instagram. "While we still have 15 more days of filming, I sit here with a heavy, but extremely full & grateful heart after our official last table read of Pretty Little Liars. Aside from a murder mystery, mysterious Rosewood, the Hunt for A, and a lot of sketchy characters...the foundation of this show started and ended with friendship. Through it all, these characters stuck by each other's side," Hale, 27, told her followers. "Knowing and working with each of these ladies has left such a huge mark on my life. And I'm not ready to say goodbye."

Bellisario, 30, added a black and white filter before she shared the shot on Instagram. "Table read for 720. Before. Because afterwards we were all hysterically crying and red," she told her 8.3 million fans. "I cannot believe that was the last one we will ever do together. I love you all."

While Benson and Mitchell have yet to re-gram the picture, Pieterse shared it Thursday. As was true for everyone, being together once again brought a lot of memories. "Wow. 8 years ago we had our first table read in this very room. I didn't post anything from the table read yesterday because I was too emotional and I wanted to find the right words. So much love, blood, sweat and tears have gone into this show and I couldn't be more proud and honored to go through this journey with each and every one of our cast and crew. Weddings, funerals, birthdays, housewarmings, we've shared it all. The last 7 years have consisted of graduating high school, learning to drive, doing what I love every day, finding true friends, and getting engaged to my best friend. It's an end of a chapter and it's been some of the best times of my life. To the fans: thank you for taking this journey with us. For loving the show the way we do. For having faith in us, they way we have faith in you," Pieterse, 20, wrote on Instagram. "You're apart of this just as much as we are. Thank you for being apart of our #PLL family. I will cherish you all forever."

Keegan Allen, 27, said the last table read made him feel "very emotional for a lot of reasons" and vowed to share flashback photos on Instagram. "You are all here with us. You're all part of our family and I want you all to feel included," he wrote. "The fans made this show so special."

Crying was commonplace, and so executive producer I. Marlene King shared the "after" shot with her followers. her collage showed many of the cast members wearing sunglasses to cover their puffy eyes and tear-stained cheeks, and it also revealed the series finale's title, "Till Death Do Us Part"—perhaps foreshadowing a not so happy ending for the residents of Rosewood.

"We got through it," the showrunner wrote on Instagram. "Now we go make it."
