Inside Blake Lively's First Week as a Mother of Two

Gossip Girl alum has managed to keep the name and sex of her baby a secret

It's safe to say Blake Lively's household is a whole lot busier these days.

In case you missed the big news, the former Gossip Girl star and her husband Ryan Reynolds welcomed their second child into the world last week.

While the sex and name of baby No. 2 remains top secret—for now—we're getting a sense of how mom and dad are adjusting to life as a family of four.

After their child's arrival was confirmed, close family friend Taylor Swift reportedly visited the newborn on Friday morning.

Just a couple of days later, Blake stepped out to attend her best friend's wedding at the Tribeca Rooftop in New York City.

While a source told E! News that the A-list actress was at the wedding for a short time, we're told the busy mom wanted to send her well wishes to the bride in person.

"Most beautiful bride on the planet," she wrote while kissing her gal pal. "And the best friend I could ask for. @jessicarose617 thank you for being EVERYTHING. I love you."

For the special event, Blake was seen wearing a black ensemble with a matching Chanel bag. As for the bride, she stunned in a Marchesa gown that earned rave reviews from Blake.

While fans remain on the edge of their seats waiting for more scoop on this famous pair, it's fair to point out that this couple isn't your average duo in Hollywood . As their first child James prepares to turn two, mom and dad have shared very few pictures online.

And while Blake and Ryan have Instagram feeds that are updated on a fairly regular basis, they are not the ones to post candid family photos day after day.

"My husband and I chose a profession and a side effect of that is, your personal life is public," Blake explained in Marie Claire U.K. last summer. "Our child hasn't had the opportunity to choose whether or not she wants her personal life to be public or not. So in order to give her as much normality as possible, we want her to have a childhood like we had."

 Besides, look what happened when Blake stepped out for her best friend's wedding just days after giving birth. Even the bride was surprised by the interest.

"Since there was very little coverage of our wedding here's one more. #becummingmrandmrs," Jessica Rose joked on Instagram with a memory from her ceremony. "The most perfect night!!"
