Get your DVRs ready, because one famous family is coming back to the small screen.

Kate Gosselin confirmed that after nearly a year away from reality TV, she and her eight children will be returning for yet another season of Kate Plus 8 on TLC in January. The big news was discreetly revealed through an Instagram comment on a photo she posted of her son Aaden after a fan wrote, "Wish you guys were still on television."

Kate responded, "We are! Full season of Kate Plus 8 returning in January! #Yay."

While details of what we'll see play out between the 41-year-old mom and her kids, 15-year-old twins Mady and Cara and her 12-year-old sextuplets Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Leah and Joel, on TV have yet to be revealed, we've definitely already began brainstorming on plot lines for the new season.

Why, yes, of course we'll share them with you...

Juggling the Kids With Jon: Kate and ex Jon Gosselin, who was part of the original series Jon & Kate Plus 8, have not had the smoothest journey when it comes to co-parenting their children. Their blowout (and public) fights haven't really lightened up since signing those divorce papers in 2009, and while their turmoil may make for great TV, we'd love to see them work out a custody agreement for the kids' sake. Jon may not be in the show title any more, but seeing him build a relationship with his children would be wonderful.

Getting Back in the Dating Pool: The TLC matriarch ended her relationship with entrepreneur Jeff Prescott last year, which means Kate is single and ready to mingle. We've seen her go on some "awkward" blind dates in the past, and while we hope that everyone finds their Prince Charming, we'd also like to experience the frogs met along the way, because, let's be real—watching people navigate the dating scene is entertaining AF.

Mady and Cara's Teenage Angst: We have a pair of teenagers on our hands, which means some drama is sure to go down. We've watched the twins grow up right in front of our eyes, and now they've entered the dreadful (for parents) years of angst and rebellion. Are they going to sneak out of the house to go to parties? Are they going to start bringing boyfriends around the house? Is Kate going to lose her damn mind? We want to see all of this unfold.

What About Collin?: While fans may be excited to hear of a new season coming, a lot of viewers are also surprised at the news given the recent revelation of Kate's son, Collin.

Last month, Gosselin opened up about her 12-year-old, revealing he's away at a program designed to help him gain better "life skills," so he can learn to handle his "educational and social challenges," which Kate has discussed in the past, more easily.

"Collin has special needs," Kate tells People. "[There's a fairly fluid diagnosis of what those needs are, but he needs to learn certain strategies to help him deal with things. This has been a struggle we've had for a very long time, and it's one I've dealt with on my own. I've felt very alone in this."

So does that mean Collin won't be a part of this season or are we going to experience this journey with him?
