For once and for all, the cast of Sex and the City really did get along.

Although it's been six years since the last film came out, speculation somehow still remains as to whether or not everybody on set was friendly with one another.

But in a new interview, Sarah Jessica Parker is setting the record straight that there wasn't any feuding among castmates especially in regards to Kim Cattrall.

"It was always so heartbreaking to me that there was this narrative about Kim and myself because it just didn't reflect anything that happened on that set," she shared with Time. "They just didn't do it to the Sopranos guys. It was so strange to me and upsetting."

She added, "I posted something on Kim's birthday and people were like ‘Oh my God, I didn't know you liked her!' What? We were all at liberty to walk away at any time! But nobody asked those questions of shows with men. Isn't that interesting?"

We Ranked All the Sex and the City Relationships

The popular HBO TV series that aired from 1998 to 2004 centered around four female New Yorkers who gossiped about their sex lives (or lack thereof), relationships, work and much more.

Because the show was so popular, two big-screen movies were made. And before you ask about a third, Sarah already has some thoughts.

"The last movie came out in 2010. It was 13 years of my life, give or take—how better to have spent a career?" she shared with the publication. "And now it's time for me to do something else."

That something else is a new HBO series titled Divorce. The comedy allows Sarah to play a woman who thinks divorcing her husband of 17 years will lead her to new memories and experiences.

And while Sarah loves working on her fashion empire, there's something about acting on the small screen that she can't help but keep coming back to.

"I love the medium. I love the limitations, I love its urgency," she shared with Time. "I love how disciplined and focused you need to be. I love that I can live a whole life on television."
