Selena Gomez gives good face. And that's largely due to one person.

If you don't know celeb makeup artist Hung Vanngo yet (or follow him on social media), you're truly missing out.

Not only is he among the most coveted pros in the biz (along with Selena, he's also a go-to for stars like Gwyneth Paltrow, Taraji P. Henson, Kate Bosworth and all of the VS Angels), but he's an educator as well. Yesterday, he took to Instagram and shared a few makeup and skin-care favorites, why he loves them and what to do with them. It's a combination of drugstore beauty buys, high-brow lines and he even snuck in some tips on the new Marc Jacob Air Blush.

Kardashian Hairstylist Jen Atkin Wants Everyone to Ditch the Wavy Lob and Try This Instead

Starting this week, I decided I would have a little fun and post a few makeup & skincare favorites and the reasons why I'm featuring them. Some are new and some are old go-to's. I'll post new ones every couple of weeks. None of the products here are sponsored, and the opinions are mine! 1. Anastasia Foundation Stick With almost 30 shades, there are options for every skintone. This has a more matte texture, so would be good for oily or combination skin. It can be applied sheer, or to achieve full coverage if needed. The price is also great--about $25 each! @anastasiabeverlyhills 2. Nars Unrestricted Matte Eyeliner Stylo Easy to apply, and completely matte! Sometimes when a liquid liner is too shiny, it can appear imperfect on the red carpet due to the patchy reflection of flash photography. This one photographs exactly as it's applied. @narsissist 3. Three Cosmetics 4D Eyeshadow Most of these quads come with four textures of eyeshadow (matte, satin, shimmer, and cream) in coordinating colors. Currently only available to anyone living in or visiting Asia, but worth trying if you get a chance! The whole brand is amazing. @threecosmetics 4. Covergirl Katy Kat Lipstick Sometimes matte lipsticks can be dry. This one looks matte but still has enough moisture that it's comfortable to wear. Available in a variety of great colors for only about $7 each! @katyperry @covergirl 5. Marc Jacobs Airblush These new blushes from @marcbeauty are so beautiful. The texture allows you to apply a very soft wash of color, but is buildable for brighter color. I love the satiny multidimensional finish. @marcbeauty 6. Natasha Denona Blackest Black Matte Shadow One of the blackest eyeshadows I've seen. Highly pigmented, but with a soft texture. Can be used with a damp brush for even more intensity or as an eyeliner. @natashadenona If you like this mini review and want to see more like it, please let me know in the comments! ??

What makes this so special? In addition to the things we mentioned above, the rest of Hung's portfolio is equally as impressive. He's worked with famous photographers like Ellen von Unwerth, Carter Smith and David Roemer and on publications like Allure, ELLE, Interview, I-D, Italian Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, InStyle, GQ, V, Vogue and W. He's a favorite for major brands like CoverGirl, Lancôme, L'Oréal, Estee Lauder, Sephora and Victoria's Secret. So it's pretty rare he's dishing out such insider information to just anyone.

If you're curious about who else he's given a stunning face beat to, keep scrolling for a peek at his laundry list of a celebrity following.
