Watch: Have Ryan McCartan & Dove Cameron Started Wedding Planning?

Ryan McCartan and his fiancée Dove Cameron aren't in any rush when it comes to wedding planning.

The Disney Channel star, who will soon be appearing in Fox's remake of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, got engaged to his Liv and Maddie co-star in April. The happy news was made public on both of their Instagram accounts, with Ryan dedicating his 1,000th picture to Dove.

Flash forward five months later. With Ryan back in the spotlight for his TV special, many fans are wondering what's happening with the wedding. But Ryan made it pretty clear he and Dove aren't focusing on their big day right now. "She's so busy. I'm so busy. The last thing we want to do is turn it into another thing on the to-do list, you know what I mean?" the actor told E! News. "I mean, we're infants—we're children—so we have a lot of time to plan and get it done, and it'll happen when it's supposed to."

Plus, where is the rush when it seems like their love is set in stone? As Dove previously told People, they're both on the same page, and the situation is very much like "'I know you're my person. You know you're my person. There's nobody else.'"

For the moment, Ryan's attention is on Rocky Horror Picture Show, premiering Oct. 20 on Fox. The modern take on the cult classic stars Laverne Cox as Dr. Frank-n-Furter, Victoria Justice as Janet, McCartan as Brad, Reeve Carney as Riff Raff, Christina Milian as Magenta, Annaleigh Ashford as Columbia, Staz Nair as Rocky, Adam Lambert as Eddie and Ben Vereen as Dr. Scott.

Ryan admitted he'd been a fan of the musical for a decade and always knew he would want to be a part of the remake. "We aren't trying to rewrite the book; we're trying to add a chapter. We're not trying to change the cult; we're trying to bring ore people into the family and keep the thing going," he told E! News. "That's the goal. That's what we want people to see."

The cast comes from diverse backgrounds, and Ryan is excited for audiences to see what they can do together.

But is there a rivalry with Justice, who comes from rival network Nickelodeon? Watch the video to find out what Ryan had to say!
