NetflixAll hail Netflix's new queen, Queen Elizabeth II. The streaming service is serving up royal drama with The Crown, a new scripted series about Queen Elizabeth II. The Crown is based on the award-winning play The Audience and delves into Queen Elizabeth's early reign, romances, political rivalries and personal intrigues.
Claire Foy stars as Queen Elizabeth II, Matt Smith is Prince Phillip, John Lithgow plays Sir Winston Churchill, Victoria Hamilton is the Queen Mother, Jared Harris plays King George VI, Vanessa Kirby is Princess Margaret and Dame Eileen Atkins plays Queen Mary.
